Siddhesh Sukhathankar has been promoted from the role of executive pastry chef to executive sous chef at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach, Dubai.
Sukhathankar, who first joined Amwaj Rotana in 2014, has a degree from the Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai and a post-graduate diploma in Kitchen Management from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development.
He has previously worked with Sofitel and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and moved to the UAE in 2010.
In his promoted role, Sukhathankar will be tasked with coming up with new ideas for the hotel’s five F&B outlets while overseeing procurement and ensuring sustainable food and beverage operations in line with Amwaj Rotana’s corporate sustainability plan.
Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach has 301 rooms and its F&B offer spans Italian, Japanese and international cuisine.
