The 243-key Centro Barsha by Rotana, Dubai, has appointed Hamzeh Saffaf as its new executive chef.
Overseeing the hotel’s restaurant c.taste and a private catering and banqueting unit, Hamzeh first joined Rotana in 2012.
His first role with the company was as oriental chef/ chef de cuisine at Centro Capital Centre by Rotana Abu Dhabi.
He later moved to Al Ain Rotana, UAE, as specialty outlet chef, also in charge of banqueting.
Hamzeh’s contributed to recipes for the standard Arabic recipe book used across all Rotana hotels.
He also conducted training for oriental chefs in all Rotana hotels, including those appointed at new Rotana properties who required training on the company’s established standards.
Prior to joining Rotana, Hamzeh worked for the Le Meridien Dubai and independent restaurants – Beiutna and Jedoudna – in Dubai.
