Pharaonic restaurant KHOFO has opened its doors at a waterside location.

Khofo-31Spread across 7,500 square meters, stately columns, hieroglyphic murals and servers dressed up in the ancient pharaohs attire, KHOFO’s pharaonic-inspired design adorns the indoor and outdoor space, which transports guests back to the time of King Khufu’s reign.

KHOFO offers a menu full of authentic recipes and dishes rooted in old-age Egyptian culinary tradition with highlights including a balanced Egyptian breakfast with a selection of eggs, foul (fava beans) and falafel. Cold and hot appetisers such as, soups, salads, stews, casseroles, mixed grills, seafood and dessert are also part of the exciting selection for lunch and dinner.

Local Egyptian favourites such as molokia, a soup made from Jew’s mallow leaves, okra, oxtail soup, mahashi which is assorted stuffed vegetables and hawawshi which includes pita bread and minced meat.
