Originating in California, the smoothie franchise has seven locations in the UAE, and is set to expand across the region.

Andres Gonzales, general manager of Foodmark, which operates Jamba Juice franchises in the UAE commented: “We are excited to be expanding Jamba Juice as one of the top providers of health and wellness products, and we are keen to educate and encourage the health food revolution in the UAE.”

Jamba Juice uses fresh whole fruits, vegetables and 100% fruit juice in its smoothies and juices, with flavours including acai berry and kale-ribbean breeze, which contain superfoods such as acai, kale and chia seeds.

In addition, the brand has expanded its menu to include food items such as salads, sandwiches, wraps and wellness bowls, which offer a blend of fresh fruit with toppings such as granola, yogurt and honey.

Jamba Juice will soon launch a one-day cleansing programme, designed to detox and clean the system, boost energy and nourish the body.

The brand is currently located in Abu Dhabi at Yas Mall and Yas Mall Funworks; and in Dubai at Kite Beach, Oasis Center, Souk Madinat, Me’aisem City Center, Al Ghurair Center, and Dubai Festival City.

Foodmark is the food and beverage division of Landmark Group, and operates internationally franchised restaurants in the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.

Its franchised brands include Carluccio’s, Mango Tree, Jamba Juice and Max’s Restaurant.

Foodmark launched has its own Indian brand restaurant, Zafran in July 2010 and has joint ventures with Ushna, The Meat Company, La Gaufrette and Bazerkan.
