New lounge bar venue, 7 Elephants, has opened in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with views over Burj Khalifa.

Central to the concept is a stock exchange-style board and app, which reveals price fluctuations in drink prices and highlights offers.

The lounge has floor to ceiling windows, a 35m-long bar and a life-sized elephant statue at the entrance, painted by Dubai-based graffiti artist Steffi Bow.

The menu, created by previous head chef at Blue Marlin, Mahmoud Turkmani, features cuisine from seven parts of the world: Italy, Mexico, Spain, India, Indonesia, the UK and the Middle East.

Signature platters and dishes include tandoori skewers, chicken coconut salad, fish cakes, Italian truffle salami, raw kibbeh and shrimp tacos. There are also cocktails and shisha available.
