ThananiThanani has opened in Ajman’s Al Zorah Pavilion, providing lounge-style seating and views over Al Zorah’s 18-hole golf course and Al Zorah Creek, which has flamingos and a natural mangrove forest.

The restaurant, which derives its name from the Arabic word for ‘pairing’, offers sharing dishes created by head chef Ricardo Menta.

The menu features a burrata trolley with smoked and flavoured burrata from Puglia, Italy; Loch Duart salmon; Kataifi prawns marinated in garlic olive oil and parsley with a sweet and sour apricot puree; and flavoured brioche and focaccia sliders with slow braised wagyu beef cheeks in a tarragon sauce.

Thanani will also introduce pintxos –  small snacks typically eaten in bars and traditional in northern Spain – in addition to mocktails made with freshly squeezed juices and home-made ginger beer.
