Until the 27 of March, Kishmish will serve traditional dishes for a limited time including the Haft mewa, which translates to ‘seven fruits’, a new year fruit medley mixed with a variety of nuts, zamarod pulao, also known as the emerald rice and the Afghan halwa, sweet buttery flour infused with cardamom and topped with crushed almonds.

As part of the celebrations, the venue, which is located in Dar Wasl mall will also customise its interiors with the traditional haft seen or seven S’s at the table which means it will be laden with seven items symbolising hope, health and prosperity. These include sabzeh (wheat or barley), samanu (sweet pudding), seer (garlic), somaq (mumac fruit), seeb (apple), sekeh (coin), and senjed (wild olives).
