Ramadan celebrations are in full swing, and the festive spirit is in the air. With over two weeks remaining of the Holy Month, those looking for a unique Iftar experience should head to MOTIONGATE™ Dubai.
The largest Hollywood-inspired theme park in the Middle East is decked out for Ramadan and will be hosting a themed Iftar with everyone’s favourite Ogre couple, Shrek and Fiona. From 22nd April onwards, visitors will get the chance to enjoy a sumptuous meal with their loved ones at The Candy Apple restaurant located in the heart of Shrek’s swamp, at the DreamWorks zone.
Diners will be treated to scrumptious dishes from the extensive buffet spread fit for a king! The menu includes hot and cold mezze items such as falafel, cheese samousek and shawarma samosas among others, served alongside tasty soups and fresh salads. For the main course, guests can expect dishes such as mutton biryani, butter chicken, shish tawook, fish with harra sauce, lamb fasolia and samak mashwi. The menu also includes refreshing Ramadan beverages and indulgent desserts such as umm Ali, baklava and crème brûlée.
Available from 22nd April until the end of Ramadan, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm daily, the buffet is priced at AED 120 per person for non-annual pass holders, AED 100 per person for annual pass holders and AED 80 for children (under the age of 12). Entry is free for children under the age of three.
Before heading for Iftar, guests can enjoy all their favourite rides and attractions at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai including the recently launched John Wick: Open Contract and Now You See Me: High Roller thrill rides, or simply relax while watching incredible live shows such as King Julien’s Stomp Show at the Madagascar zone or Turn Back Time at the Hollywood Theatre.
