Foodies with a fondness for cheese will be delighted to learn that acclaimed cheese expert and author Juliet Harbutt will be headlining jones the grocer’s Big Cheese workshops this month, in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The exclusive workshops will take place in Dubai on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November and in Abu Dhabi on Thursday 19 November.
Participants at jones the grocer’s Cheese Appreciation Workshops will be welcomed with a beverage and a chance to mingle with Juliet and jones the grocer’s fromagers before the tasting and pairing commences. The workshop includes pairing a selection of cheeses with hand-selected beverages. After the tasting; charcuterie, salads and antipasto will be served with house-baked bread. The Cheese Appreciation Workshop includes an automatic one-year membership of jones the grocer’s cheese club.
The Big Cheese Menu is also on offer in the jones stores throughout November. Filled with a range of delicious dishes that will satisfy every cheesy craving a diner may have, including eggs baked with truffle brie and served with spinach and Portobello mushroom with a house baked olive oil ciabatta. A grilled Australian rib-eye drizzled with melted roquefort butter and served with a perfectly caramelised onion tart and root vegetables. Saffron and manchego risotto accompanied with a hot smoked salmon fillet and Swiss chard. Or the indulgent yet light goat’s cheese panna cotta with raspberry jelly and topped off with a sprinkle of pistachio and white chocolate shavings.
