Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen, part of Dubai Food Festival (DFF), returns this year to celebrate the special 10th edition of DFF, featuring 17 fun-filled, food-packed days. The massively popular pop-up concept is brought to you by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), and its creative partner, Brag. This free-to-attend event gives friends, families and foodies an exciting beach-side location to enjoy the outdoors through unmissable activities at all of its zones, each promising a unique experience. Launching on the Eid Al Fitr weekend, Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen will also be celebrating with mesmerising evening fireworks on the 21st of April and traditional acts on the main stage all weekend.
Currently in its 10th edition, Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen has always championed sustainability and this year is no different. The pop-up concept is widely known for repurposing its iconic shipping containers as food stalls, but this edition is taking another step forward in its commitment to the environment. Along with a ’No Plastic Straws’ promise, an initiative will be taken to replace all plastic disposables with reusable alternatives (or recycled in the most sustainable way possible).
In another commitment to sustainability, this edition will see the introduction of the Farm-To-Table concept, which will feature Bahr, the second original project by farm2table. A simple, yet sophisticated dining experience, Bahr, showcases the UAE’s wide variety of artisanal farm products served in an array of international dishes. Bahr will also be recycling by composting food waste into fertiliser, creating a closed loop zero-waste project that uses 100% local produce, with the contribution of local SMEs to reduce carbon emissions.
Visitors to Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen can also participate in sustainability by attending workshops where they can learn to upcycle their clothes and accessories.
This milestone edition of Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen will feature several all-time favourites as well as some brand new culinary discoveries participating for their first time at this iconic event. Etisalat by e& Main Stage
The Etisalat Main Stage is once again offering centre stage entertainment for all. With an array of musical acts, movies, and fun activities and giveaways, it has something on offer for everyone.
Memory Lane
To celebrate the Dubai Food Festival’s 10 year edition, Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen will feature a trip down memory lane through a unique digital gallery where pictures and videos from the last decade will showcase the incredible growth of both the Dubai Food Festival and Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen as its hub.
Yalla Fun Park
The Yalla Fun Park will host family-friendly activities such as ping pong and foosball along with all-time favourite, teen-friendly rides, such as wipe out and the bull ride. A Modesh inflatable will also be available for the younger kids to get their bounce on!
Kids Adventure island
The Kids Adventure Island is sure to get the fun and adrenaline going for all kids to enjoy! Featuring bumper cars, a soft play area, trampolines and more, this zone is sure to attract any little one looking for some fun!
Splash Zone
This year, Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen will make the most of the sunny weather and beachside location to offer its first ever waterpark for kids. With inflatable pools and slides as well as a fun water ride, the Splash Zone is sure to be a hit! The best part is, while kids splash around in the pool, parents will be able to relax and enjoy a meal as they watch.
Food Focus Dubai
In celebration of Dubai Food Festival’s 10th edition, Gulf Photo Plus, invited the city to submit images that capture Dubai’s varied array of restaurants, eateries, and culinary experience. The top 30 photographs will be unveiled at the Food Focus Dubai exhibition at Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen and 3 winners will receive up to AED10,000 in cash, so pass by to discover some of the most amazing shots of the city’s culinary experiences.
Mocktail Bar
This year the first ever non-alcoholic mocktail bar will pop-up at the beach! The Mocktail bar by Martini 0.0 will offer a variety of delicious mocktails that are the perfect pairing with your beach vibes. Come and enjoy a fresh and cool mocktail by the beach as you roam around choosing your favourite eatery to feast at!
Beach BBQ
The Beach BBQ zone will bring those grilling vibes you love right to the beach! The zone is dedicated to an array of barbecued delights, offering you a wide choice of specialties fresh off the grill!
The Snack Stop
The Snack Stop is the perfect place to find the quick bites you need fast! Whether it’s a swift savoury delight or sweet treat, you’re going to want to swing by The Snack Stop to get a fix of flavours everyone wants a taste of!
Food Plaza
The Food Plaza is back in all its glory, featuring delicious food pop-ups, offering an array of delicious flavours, in the iconic Etisalat by e& Beach Canteen upcycled containers. Featuring both new eateries as well as some special comebacks, the Food Plaza is every foodie’s dream spot.
Food Truck Paradise

Splash-Free Snap Pool
