Meats & Cuts, an independently run artisan butchery, and gourmet deli, recently opened its doors at The Pavilion, Jumeirah Park, to offer premium, hand-crafted products, spanning a selection of fine quality meat, exquisite cheese, hand-crafted cold cuts, and is the first butchery to feature a dry-aging room, a striking and functional addition, elevating the traditional butchery experience.
The newly-opened neighborhood shop expands the concept of a traditional butchery by offering more than what ‘meats’ the eye, going above & beyond in product sourcing & butchery innovation. Founded by three passionate hospitality businessmen, Meats & Cuts will add to the up-and-coming specialty-store scene and is the only butchery that offers in-house hand-crafted cold cuts free of any added sugars, preservatives, additives, colorants, enzymes, or antibiotics.
Upon entering the store, patrons are met with a team of expert meat connoisseurs to walk them through the journey, whilst educating them on the different products on display, their quality, and origin. Customers are then introduced to the first section of the enclosed glass displays featuring a variation of US-grade meats, all hand-picked from premium farms. Moving further into the venue, customers will come across an assortment of divine cheeses hailing from Europe, and a full range of hand-crafted cold-cuts.
The central pillar of the artisan butchery is the state-of-the-art, custom-made, dry-aging room giving customers a front-row seat to witness the process appreciated by the meat connoisseurs. The aging room encompasses a temperature and humidity-controlled environment, purposefully-fitted Himalayan salt stone walls, acting as a natural antibacterial element against moisture and features air purification and UVC lights for food safety. Patrons can simply hand-pick their meat, choose the aging time, and look forward to a matured product that bursts of flavor and tenderness. The venue also features a glass ‘meat lab’, providing customers the chance to observe the meat production process, allowing for a transparent, educative experience.
Further elevating the experience, Meats & Cuts offers the opportunity for guests to curate customized cheese and cold-cuts platters, in addition to a BBQ box complemented with all of the necessary ingredients from burger patties, buns, and other condiments, besides pre-orders of smoked beef such as briskets, beef ribs, and many others, just in time for the BBQ season. Providing convenience is an on-demand delivery option to all ends of the Emirate.

We were driven to design a space that didn’t just provide products by taking it a step further with the art of dry-aging and hand-crafting our cold cuts in-house, for a personalized taste and experience.
