What is your favourite ingredient to cook with?
I’m from the Amalfi Coast, so it has to be seafood! I really love cooking grilled whole seabass. You can try it on our Venus menu, ‘Pesce Del Giorno’ meaning fish of the day.
Burrata Con Zucchine alla Scapece or Carpaccio di Gamberi?
It’s hard to choose. Maybe the burrata, as I love the combination of our burrata from Puglia and zucchini scapecea. It’s a classic Napoletana side dish from my childhood. It’s very refreshing and tasty.
Are you sitting on the terrace or inside the Ristorante?
Let me be very specific. My favourite is table 53 on our beautiful terrace Cala Piccola.

Your favourite dish currently on the Venus Ristorante menu?
It’s hard to say, but if I really had to, it would be the Risotto di Mare.
Negroni or Limoncello?
I prefer the Italian way. Start with a spritz, dine with red wine and end with homemade limoncello.
Cook for family or cook for strangers?
In Italian culture, it’s all about family and friends.
Deliziaal Limone or Baba ai Frutti di Bosco?
Delizia al Limone, as it holds so many memories of my childhood.
What would be your last meal?
Bruschetta, burrata, risotto, Fiorentina steak, seabass and tiramisu. It would be a feast!
Are you eating breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast?
Pizza for breakfast! When I was a child and had leftover pizza, I would eat it as soon as I woke up.
