Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay Dubai has set up and stocked two outdoor sharing refrigerators for Ramadan.
The gesture is in respect of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the call for A Year of Giving.
“The purpose of our sharing fridges is to spread goodness and kindness to the community around us all through Ramadan, and reinforce a sense of togetherness,” said Stephen Meredith, general manager for Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay Dubai
“Along with our generous sponsors, this gives our team and guests a chance to experience the joy of giving, which is one of the essential cornerstones of the holy month. Luxury hotels often focus only on those who can afford to pay for its services, but there is so much we can do to make sure that those less fortunate than us are not forgotten.”
The hotel has partnered with PepsiCo who have sponsored two refrigerators and 60 cases of water, NRTC Group to supply fresh fruits, and Gulf Bagel and Promar who are providing boxes of pastry products.
The two fridges are placed between the hotel main entrance and Brothaus Bakery Bistro terrace, all through the month of Ramadan. In addition to the food and drinks supplied by the hotel, guests and the local community are also invited to be part of this initiative and make donations of their own.
