Hans Schiller has been appointed as the cluster general manager at Hilton Abu Dhabi and Hilton Al Ain.
Schiller has 25 years of experience in the industry spanning the Pan Arab region, including stints in the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
“I strongly believe that the success of a hospitality brand depends on team work and each staff member’s passion and attitude towards the work,” said Schiller.
“In my new role, I will focus on growing the talent we have in-house at both hotels and set the tone for a high-performance culture to create a synergistic impact on hospitality.”
Schiller joined the group when he became Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt as director of operations. He then moved to Hilton Abuja in Nigeria in 2012. Hans has also proven his strong leadership and operational capability by successfully hosting the 24th World Economic Forum in 2014 in Transcorp Hilton Abuja catering for world leaders, diplomats and distinguished officials.
In 2014, he was appointed as the cluster general manager of Doubletree by Hilton Riyadh – Al Muroj Business Gate and Hilton Garden Inn Riyadh Olaya. In this role, he achieved numerous awards for the hotels. In 2016, Doubletree Hotel by Hilton Dhahran was added to his portfolio.
