Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection has appointed Haitham Assem to the role of multi-property director of marketing and communications for The St. Regis Dubai, W Dubai – Al Habtoor City and The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City.
Assem started his career in hotel operations in his home country Egypt, where he held various roles within the front office department before moving to the UAE in 2006.
He then took a role with the marketing and communications department at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates.
“In his new role, Haitham will be responsible for introducing and strengthening the market position of the three hotel brands: St. Regis, W hotels and Westin Hotels and bringing them to life showing each of their own uniqueness,” said a spokesperson.
“The multi-property complex is home to nearly 1,600 bedrooms, 17 restaurants and lounges, two spas, 34 meeting and banqueting spaces, including three ballrooms.”
