Laurent Damiens, communication director at CNIEL, the French dairy interbranch organisation explains why Cream of Europe is only too happy to support the Leaders in F&B Awards…
Why have you chosen to support BNC Publishing’s Leaders in F&B Awards?
We decided to renew our support to the Leaders in F&B Awards this year following a first successful participation in 2016. It is important for us to celebrate the leading professionals who define the culinary landscape of the region.
What is your opinion of the Middle East’s F&B landscape?
The Middle East’s F&B market is growing and constantly changing, with people now looking for natural high quality products. French and European dairy benefit from a prestigious and qualitative image, which correspond to the Chefs demand in their pursuit of excellence. For us, the ME market is still very promising thanks to its maturity and its ability to keep up with international trends, but also thanks to all the culinary professionals that ensure its creativity and international exposure.
What are your company’s plans for the next 12 months?
The Cream of Europe programme will pursue its vocation to support and promote the French and European dairy cream industries so they can further develop their activities and awareness among the middle east region. We will be organizing different events in the UAE and Saudi Arabia such as pastry training in cooking schools for young chefs and workshops for professionals.
