Lebanese food chain Kababji Grill is to open its first UAE Kababji Express fast service concept in Abu Dhabi before the end of March, marking the first Kababji Express outside of Lebanon.

Dubai-based Eathos will open the outlet under a master franchise agreement.

The 60m2 outlet will open in the food court at the upscale The Galleria on Al Maryah Island

Eathos CEO Faysal Younes said: “Abu Dhabi with its large Levantine and Arab population is an ideal market for Kababji which serves food fresh daily to traditional recipes enhanced by the brand’s own proprietary spices.

The 60m2 outlet will open in the food court at the upscale The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, and will offer a free delivery service throughout the island.

Eathos has recently opened two, full-service sit-in Kababji restaurants in Dubai at Dubai Marina Promenade and Deira’s Al Ghurair Centre, and plans are in place to bring the full-service Kababji brand to Abu Dhabi this year.

“We hope to be able to announce the second Abu Dhabi outlet within a few months,” said Younes.
