BNC Publishing has released the 2016 edition of  its annual Meet your HOST, coffee-table book.

Equipped with Industry Insights from Hotel News ME’s 2016 survey, Meet your HOST 2016 is an essential tool for the next generation of hoteliers and a celebration of the hard work of those leading the industry currently.

Meet your HOST 2016 is a credit to the hoteliers working the often long, and unpredictable hours to make establishments across the Middle East world class. Imparting their knowledge to the next generation of hospitality gurus, in this special publication the top General Managers and hospitality group leaders from across the Middle East have put together their insights showcasing their ever evolving roles to become jacks of all trades and masters of many.

Commenting on the launch of the book, Diarmuid O’Malley, Group Publishing Director, said: “Traditionally, senior management and General Managers were seen hovering around hotel lobbies to keep a keen ear to the ground, but today these roles have evolved, whereby the demands of a General Manager or group leader no longer stop at just interaction with the guests; these hoteliers are required to now be commercially driven and tech-savvy too. Meet your HOST 2016 stands testament to the ever evolving industry and pays tribute to the individuals shaping the region’s leading hotels.”

Revealing insights from the book, O’Malley added: “Gone are the days of micro-managing every situation, in its place comes real measured feedback and a level of empowerment in teams that fosters growth, creativity and innovation, Meet you HOST 2016 is a true reflection of the methodology behind the hospitality industry.”
