Cuisinero Uno, a boutique urban tapas and cocktail bar has opened in Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay, Dubai.
The concept was created by culinary director and CEO, John Martho Buenaventura, and the industrial interiors were designed by Manikk Interiors LLC.
Buenaventura commented: “Cuisinero Uno is the place to go for upscale and straightforward, yet moreish dishes partnered with ultra-creative cocktails. Urban, industrial, quirky and chilled are our key words to describe the place.
“We are not pretentious and overpriced but we provide great service with personal connectivity. We are all about the character and passion of our people behind the brand, as well as the clientele we love to welcome.”
The restaurant has its own greenhouse and a menu focused on local produce available in the UAE.
The chefs apply classic cooking techniques with flavours from Spain and the Middle East. Signature dishes include DXB Ribs, burnt leeks and beef tartare.
Buenaventura added: “The Dubai food scene has been very competitive. However, we strongly think that our concept is one of its kind simply because we cook what we want to eat – we call it ‘Dubai Cuisine’, which is a melting pot of diverse nationalities.”
