One of Dubai’s most popular F&B venues is closing down at the end of May.
It has been confirmed that Crab Tavern at Media One Hotel will cease operation at the end of the month but, in a statement, the hotel has already hinted at what will be replacing the popular destination.
“Details of what will replace Crab Tavern and the recently closed Spirito are being kept fairly under wraps But, rumours tell us there’s one man by the name of Mr. Miyagi swooping in from the streets of Asia, bringing the promise of authentic Asian street flavours to Media One,” read the statement.
“His long-term rival Cobra Kai will also be joining him to run their kitsch cocktail bar so imagine décor that’s terrific, tacky and oh-so Thai with a drinks menu to match.”
The statement concludes by saying that Crab Tavern’s closing down sale will run throughout May and Mr Miyagi’s is “coming soon”.
