JW Marriott Hotel Dubai, Deira will host Maifest at the hotel’s German restaurant Hofbräuhaus from 28 April – 27 May.
Bavarian cold cuts, homemade Kaiserschmarrn, freshly baked breads and homemade pretzels will be on offer along with a special brew called “Maibock”, traditionally served in Germany during spring time.
There will also be a special asparagus menu, which is in season during May and used in soups, salads and with sauces.
The band ‘Duo Emotion’ will come from Germany to entertain guests from Monday to Saturday from 9pm onwards.
The JW Marriott Hotel Dubai is also holding a ‘fresh from the market’ sale of raw white asparagus from Germany and Holland.
Fresh white asparagus can be pre-ordered and picked up during the weekend, priced at AED 130 per kilogram.
