Kempinski Hotel Ajman took part in an extensive clean-up event organised by the Ajman Tourism Development Department to help clean up the beaches before UAE National Day and to outline the importance of taking care of the surrounding environment.
Throughout the week of National Day celebrations, more than 20 representatives from the hotel’s different departments joined in on the efforts.
Kai Schukowski, hotel manager of Kempinski Ajman said: “As the first five-star hotel in Ajman, our utmost aim is to pride ourselves in our surroundings and our home, and together as a team, we should raise public awareness. In April 2015, we organised a large-scale clean-up event by the newly opened Ajman Marina area, where more than 600 kg of garbage were collected. Such local initiatives are a basic way to preserve our community here in Ajman and it is important to show that we care. Only together can we make a difference. I am very thankful for my team, for their commitment and for Ajman Tourism for making the effort to organise such an activity and extending their continuous support to us.”
