Mexican restaurant and bar, Loca, opened its third branch on 22 January at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi.
Other Loca outlets are located in Dubai Marine Beach Hotel & Spa and Souk Al Bahar Downtown Dubai.
Loca co-founder Hiba Kosta, stated: “We are thrilled to open our third Loca restaurant and bar on Al Maryah Island. Not only is The Galleria an amazing venue positioned as Abu Dhabi’s dining destination, but we get to introduce Loca to a new city in one of its most stunning locations.
“Abu Dhabi is a world class destination, attracting visitors from across the world and we are ready to wow them with our world-class cuisine and stand-out service”.
The venue has a variety of areas for dining, drinking, watching sports and listening to live music. It offers a range of dishes including ceviche, fajitas and burritos. It also has a large terrace overlooking the water.
The Galleria general manager and VP of Gulf Related, Charles Martinez said: “This is incredibly important news for the capital. Abu Dhabi’s dining scene has been progressing solidly over the past few years, but this will propel it forward into the spotlight”.
“Each of the restaurants have been chosen as a result of its outstanding quality, unique brand values and overall commitment to innovation. The expansion of The Dining Collection will allow us to redefine ourselves as a luxury shopping and dining destination.”
