Media One Hotel in Dubai has made two senior appointments, with a new director of marketing and communications and a director of operations.
Caroline Rowe has come on-board as director of marketing and communications, bringing more than 10 years’ global marketing strategy experience.
Having started her career in Shanghai, Rowe worked for luxury destination, Three on the Bund and later moved to Delhi as a consultant for Perfect Relations, the biggest PR firm in India.
Rowe relocated to Dubai in 2013, representing the owner in the opening of the Taj hotel in Business Bay, before working as an independent strategy consultant.
In her new role, she looks forward to bringing a fresh, digitally-driven approach to marketing.
Media One Hotel GM, Mark Lee, said: “I am delighted to welcome Caroline to the Media One team. Bringing more than 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including five in the Middle East, Damir Boshnjak has joined Media One as director of hotel operations.
Having worked in Macedonia, the US, Greece, Abu Dhabi and Doha, Boshnjak will oversee operations and manage the housekeeping, engineering, front office and security teams.
Commenting on his new position, Boshnjak said: “I accepted this role because of the amazing concept of Media One where the Enthusiasts can be themselves and still deliver the most vibrant hospitality in the city.”
Lee added: “We are excited to have someone as dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic as Damir, with global hospitality experience. We look forward to welcoming his ideas and ensuring our ongoing high standards of service.”
