The award winning Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain has appointed a new director of sales to spearhead the continued growth of the hotel’s revenue.
Rameez Shaikh, holds 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry with previous roles at two prominent Mövenpick hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He is well versed in corporate and leisure sales in the Middle East, with particular focus on GCC market segments, including government and leisure.
The 106-room hotel is positively performing in Bahrain’s market and has diversified its offerings by adding a luxurious spa in 2014. With many of its rooms overlooking the lagoon, high-tech meeting rooms and proximity to the airport, the property is the ultimate choice for business and leisure travellers. It also caters widely to local residents.
