An elderly, 71-year old passenger has died on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Manchester, the airline has confirmed. The flight which took off from Dubai International airport on June 20, 2016 was air-bound for Manchester, United Kingdom.
A spokesman said: “Emirates can confirm that a passenger on board Emirates flight EK 21 from Dubai to Manchester passed away during the flight. Emirates expresses its condolences to the family.”
Greater Manchester police confirmed they were called to the airport at 7.59am to reports that a male passenger had died on a plane.
There are no suspicious circumstances, a spokesman said.
