Urban Denk has been appointed as director culinary innovation and development for Steigenberger Hotel Group.
Denk will oversee the F&B operations of the German operator’s 54 business and resort hotels globally.
His remit includes the recently opened Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay Dubai, the first property for the company in the Middle East.
Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of the hotel group commented: “Urban Denk’s innovative project approach will establish Steigenberger at the forefront of the culinary landscape. He is the perfect strategist to undertake this role.”
The F&B leader will report to Jürgen von Massow, vice president operations, who added: “His international experience and excellent know-how provide the very best foundation for our future success.”
Born in Germany, Denk has held executive chef roles in England, Belgium, Dubai and most recently at Dean & Deluca in Kuwait.
