Online food delivery portal Talabat has partnered with Coca-Cola Middle East to unlock opportunities for food and drink promotions.
Through the agreement, Talabat will make it easier for customers to include Coca-Cola beverages with meals ordered from its restaurant partners.
Agron Rexhepi, global director of sales for Delivery Hero, the parent company of Talabat, commented: “For several years, we have successfully worked with Coca-Cola in different key markets such as Turkey and Greece. We are now entering into a strategic partnership to deepen our cooperation.
“This will create a clear win-win scenario for both partners and our customers.”
Talabat has said that almost half of orders placed on its platform during 2016 contained drinks.
The deal is part of a global partnership between Delivery Hero Group and The Coca-Cola Company. Campaigns will be implemented in several markets in which Talabat operates, including the UAE.
