“Every Culinary Competition is a learning process for every competitor and then of course the great prizes offered by our partner the American Egg Board. A total of 40 winners in four different classes won multiple prizes and an additional three special recognition prizes, which has made this competition an exciting one for competitors,” he adds.

This competition, once again, was a great platform for young and senior chefs as well as budding amateurs to show their skills online.”

Chef Micheel said that he was looking forward to continuing with such competitions in the future and sees this as a great opportunity to engage with his members and chefs around the region. “In this competition, the ‘Incredible US Egg’ was the star of every recipe, and we saw some amazing ones, from very traditional to modern creations from all levels.”

The Emirates Culinary Guild is now gearing up for its annual competition in March 2021.
