Jera Hermosa has been promoted at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City. She is now the new Marketing and Communications Manager at the 5 star Dubai hotel.
Jera is a tourism management graduate from the Philippines and has experience working in the hospitality industry for 9 years. She moved to UAE in 2018 joining Melia Desert Palm Dubai as sales & marketing coordinator, assisted with the campaigns, and rebranding of the property then later joined Millennium Hotels & Resorts as part of the pre-opening team of Millennium Atria Business Bay.
In 2019, she was appointed as Marketing & Communication Executive at Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City. Managing all digital channels and executed 360 marketing campaigns of the hotel including rooms, meeting & events, spa, F&B outlets positioning the property as the first 5-star hotel in Dubai Media City. She has developed digital and social media content strategies for all segments and fashioned the visual assets for the spa rebranding in 2021.
A digital marketing savvy who takes immense interest in social media and content creation, Jera is breaking established patterns of hospitality marketing with a trendy & effective approach. From orchestrating photo and video shoots to in-house graphic designing, Jera has proved to be a content machine calibrated to deliver successful organic and paid cross-network campaigns, amplifying engagement and social echo which translated growth into high PR value and brand awareness.
