As a new brand to the UAE market, Little Big Shot sees hotels and restaurants as potential retail opportunities, so the exposure offered by the Catering News ME Big F&B Forum is essential, according Paul Todd, Regional Director, Little Big Shot.
He adds: “I’m looking forward to being involved with some of the Forum subjects and introducing our brand and beverage to prospective clients; it’s new and different so I am excited to see their response.
“The biggest issue for any new brand is getting a foothold in the market. The majority of the industry is held by huge companies and which makes it very difficult for new and young brands, but we are up for the fight!
“The market is changing and many consumers are looking for healthier alternatives, which does give us an advantage as many established brands in the same market aren’t particularly healthy and are full of preservatives and chemicals.”
Speaking about the importance of industry events such as the Forum, Paul says: “Whilst many of the attendees will be competitors in daily life I personally feel it’s good to talk and by coming together positive changes in the industry can be achieved quicker.”
