Following the success of Roberto’s (DIFC) and Urban Bistro (Media City) brands, Skelmore Hospitality Group has announced the launch of
its Mercato concept, in the DIFC Gate Village in Q1 2016.
Inspired by the Mercato Centrale in Florence, the venue will sell authentic Italian produce paired with signature recipes for dine in, take away or catering. The onsite bakery will be the source of freshly made breads, and an array of sweets all made from scratch.
Amin Kadrie, chairman of Skelmore Group, said: “There’s no secret in what we do. We’ve brought together best practices, the freshest ingredients
and simple recipes, and mixed that with passion, dedication and love to create something that we believe to be truly special in the Mercato concept.”
