French foodie festival Apéritif à la Française attracted more than than 4,000 visitors on 19 November to enjoy French culture and gastronomic exports.
Taking place at Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina amphitheatre and gardens, the event featured live food stations offering cheese platters, oysters, cold cuts and a BBQ paired with a selection of hops and grape.
Brands included crepes from Brittany’s Payson Breton; apples from Blue Whale; premium artisanal jams from Lucien Georgelin; sophisticated amuse bouche by Maille, the French mustard and vinegar company; pastries by Dalloyau, the French Bakery and La Patisserie des Reves; water from Perrier and Vittel; and healthy snacks from TooGood.
Edwina Salvatori, account director, Sopexa Middle East, the event organisers, commented: “The expanded line-up of exhibitors, brands and venue has ensured Apéritif à la française has been another resounding success. Attendance numbers have exceeded expectations with 30% higher attendance than last year.
“Everyone who attended had a memorable day and we’re already looking to the event next year and how we can make it even bigger and better. We’re always on the lookout to partner with new companies to replicate the success of this event and to develop and showcase new brands.”
