The 12th edition of Food and Hospitality Oman 2017 will take place from 16 – 18 October 2017 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Sultanate of Oman.
The largest dedicated food and hospitality show in Oman, it will highlight food and drinks, confectionery, dairy products, ingredients, gourmet and healthy foods, tea and coffee products, catering equipment, processing and packaging.
Oman is heavily reliant on food and livestock imports – particularly from the UAE, Japan, the UK and the USA. Food imports make up 25 % of the country’s total imports.
Food and Hospitality Oman 2017 will also host the Professional Chef’s Competition, with more than 50 leading hotels of Oman going head to head.
Meanwhile, the fourth edition of the Oman Barista Championship will offer the Sultanate’s leading coffee shops and hotels the opportunity to showcase their skills.
Taking place alongside Food and Hospitality Oman 2017 is the Food Safety Oman Conference 2017, which will bring together key stakeholders to exchange ideas and strategies on issues relating to food policy and regulations.
