Originally launched at the brand’s Venice Beach pop-up earlier this year as the ‘Bentley Burger’, the opulent reinvention of David Myers’ legendary burger recipe takes classic Americana comfort food to another level by adding lashings of luxe to it. Aptly named the ‘24K Burger’ to reflect the 50thJubilee celebration of the UAE, the burger comes complete with two 5oz US wagyu beef patties, Italian truffle Taleggio cheese, lettuce and onion slaw, freshly shaved black truffle, Oscietra caviar, and truffle aioli served on a lightly toasted brioche bun wrapped in gold leaf.
Michelin-rated Chef David Myers comments: “It is mind-blowing what this country has achieved in just five decades. I have been coming to the UAE for almost five years now and this place never ceases to amaze me with its ever-evolving cityscape, future-focused innovations and warm hospitality. Of course I wanted to mark its 50th anniversary with something that our guests at Adrift Burger Bar will hopefully appreciate, but that also celebrates the grandness of what the Jubilee truly means.”
Besides the addition of the 24K Burger to the menu, Adrift Burger Bar is also introducing two equally luxe sidekicks to its menu; Fried Truffle Cheese Balls and Tater Tots with Caviar.
The 24K Burger will be available for AED 495 at Adrift Burger Bar at Expo 2020 Dubai as of the 2nd December.
