The second edition of Hotel News ME’s Executive Housekeepers Conference, which is set to take place on November 21, 2016 at the Conrad Hotel Dubai will welcome Prabhat Shukla, the founding chairperson of Kuwait Housekeepers Group, established in 2009 and now The Doha Housekeepers Association. 
Shukla brings with him 16 years of extensive experience in housekeeping, having studied hospitality management in India before working for Jaypee ,Hyatt and IHG where he has served in various roles in India; Dubai; Kuwait and Qatar.
Commenting on his participation at this year’s Conference, he said: “General managers and other executive team members have had very limited firsthand experience of the housekeeping department, therefore housekeepers look-up to each-other to learn which is why a platform such as Hotel News ME’s Executive Housekeepers Conference is so important for our industry.”
Currently working with Intercontinental Doha the city and Intercontinental Residence suites an Iconic 225 meter tower in heart of Doha’s business west bay hub, as an Executive Housekeeper, Shukla is described by his peers as “a people oriented manager that takes pride in seeing people grow into new positions.”
Shukla added: “In today’s fast pace industry, where trends change quickly, such events helps raise awareness of the integral role that housekeepers in fact play in the overall functionality of a successful hotel.”
Shukla will also be joined by several of his peers from the Doha Housekeepers Association.
The full agenda has now been revealed and will focus on new technologies shaping the housekeeping department and an all new panel set up, whereby the housekeepers hash it out with suppliers to discuss what innovations the industry really needs.
Last year The Executive Housekeepers Conference saw over 110 leading executive housekeepers from across the UAE in attendance, with the second edition of the conference due to top these numbers.
