Millennium Hotels & Resorts Middle East & Africa has debuted a new loyalty scheme with a focus on the local market.
‘You Loyalty & Rewards’ programme has been developed for the Middle East & Africa based on insights and feedback from guests in the region.
Kevork Deldelian, chief operating officer, Millennium Hotels & Resorts Middle East and Africa commented: “From the outset, our purpose was to develop a loyalty programme that caters to the unique requirements of this region.
“We have spent considerable time listening to our guests so we can better understand their preferences and create a programme that is completely tailored towards them.
“By doing so, we are confident that ‘You Loyalty and Rewards’ will really stand out in the market by offering exceptional perks and promotions as well as flexibility, ease and convenience.”
The rewards programme has three tiers – Red, Silver and Gold – and members will have access to exclusive privileges including complimentary stays, late check-out, room upgrades, free internet access and dining and lifestyle offers.
Guests can redeem points at any time, at any hotel, and can pay for hotel rooms in part with their points.
Designed for a digital era, no cards will be issued, with members able to manage their account, consult their points balance and redeem points online.
From luxury to mid-range, Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ brands include The Biltmore Collection, Grand Millennium, Millennium, M Hotel, Millennium Executive Apartments, Copthorne and Kingsgate, and the soon-to-be-launched Millennium Place, Agarwood and Studio M.
A second phase of the loyalty programme roll-out is due to be announced in the coming months, and will incorporate a bookers programme, designed especially for corporate guests.
Millennium Hotels & Resorts owns, asset manages and/or operates over 120 hotels and 40,000 rooms worldwide. The company is targetting 100 hotels in the Middle East by 2020.
