Mint Leaf of London Dubai has appointed William Fernandes as its restaurant manager.
Having worked in the food and beverage industry in the Middle East since 2004, Fernandes has developed his leadership skills with Nandos and a number of homegrown outlets in Bahrain and the UAE.
Commenting on his new role, Fernandes said: “Working with one of the most prominent restaurants in the competitive DIFC area is a huge opportunity, and one I am very excited about.
“I’m looking forward to bringing some fresh new ideas on board and working with the management team to build on Mint Leaf’s reputation as an industry leader here in Dubai.”
In his new role, Fernandes will be responsible for overseeing restaurant operations across the restaurant, bar and lounge areas in the venue.
He will be tasked with improving productivity, business development and administration of the Mint Leaf Group’s internal policies and procedures.
Fernandes looks forward to contributing to staff development and training, streamlining operations across front of house, and increasing compliance with the Mint Leaf Group’s strict hygiene and sustainability standards.
He adds: “Mint Leaf Dubai has a lot to offer and I can’t wait to take on this challenge. It’s an exciting time for the hospitality industry here in Dubai and I believe Mint Leaf Dubai has a lot to offer both existing and potential customers, so I am honoured to be a part of that.”
