Thermal foodservice technology company, Rational, held its Think Big Tour at Emirates Academy on Monday 3 October 2016 to showcase its latest innovations.
The company unveiled the new SelfCookingCenter and the SelfCookingCenter XS to a group of distributors, consultants and opinion leaders in the region’s foodservice industry.
The event marked the world premiere for the smallest ever Rational unit, the SelfCookingCenter XS with integrated fresh steam generator and intelligent professional power in the 6 x 2/3 GN unit size.
The SelfCookingCenter XS offers full Rational power and intelligence even with its small dimensions of 55.5 cm deep, 65.5 cm wide and 56.7 cm high.
Its boiler produces fresh steam at temperatures ranging from 30 – 300 degrees, and the cabinet can be dehumidified at 100 litres per second to create crusts and grill marks for bakery, meat and fish.
